Matt Jones

President
President

Matt Jones is a native Texan that moved to the Greater Chattanooga area in 2008. Matt has spent his career working in consumer facing industries. In these industries Matt has gained valuable knowledge designing programs that deliver enjoyable and meaningful experiences to the consumer. This includes being focused on not only the consumer but the members of his team. Matt has a passion for coaching, mentoring and leading employees to excel in their established roles.

In 2014 Matt had the opportunity to enter the healthcare industry. Since then he has been focused on process improvements to create a more enjoyable, transparent, and accessible healthcare experience. He feels in today’s healthcare landscape there are too many hurdles to receive good quality healthcare.
Along with Tommy Calfee FNP & Brittany Millican, Matt founded Community DPC in August 2024. His goal for Community DPC was to revolutionize healthcare by putting people first and empowering the employees. Everyone deserves personalized compassionate, and affordable care that focuses on their unique needs and goals.
In his free time, Matt enjoys camping with his family, fishing, reading and traveling.

Tommy Calfee

Family Nurse Practitioner
A Cleveland native and Army veteran, Tommy Calfee attended Cleveland State University before earning his master’s in nursing from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. Over the last 20 plus years, Tommy has gained experience in ER & ICU medicine, hospice care, family care and hormone replacement. In August 2024, along with Matt Jones & Brittany Millican Tommy founded Community DPC. This clinic means a lot to Tommy to be able to truly provide something to the community he is from. Tommy enjoys the benefit of the direct primary care model that allows him to actually spend time with patients to allow them to share their story.
In his free time Tommy enjoys swimming, cross-fit, hunting, fishing, or anything outdoors for that matter!

Mandy Jones

Research Director
Certified Clinical Research Coordinator
Mandy Jones is a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) with Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). Mandy graduated from Miller Motte Technical College September 2010. She earned her CMA in January 2011 and CCRC in March 2013. Mandy has spent the last 14+ years in the clinical research field. She has worked on over 40 clinical trials in several therapeutic areas.
In September 2024 Mandy founded the Community DPC Research Center. She is married with two children and lives in Soddy Daisy, TN. When she is not working, she loves doing puzzles and camping with her family.

Brittany Millican

Office Manager

With over 13 years of dedicated experience as a Certified Medical Assistant, Brittany has experience in primary care, hormone replacement therapy, and pediatrics. Recently stepping into the role of office manager, she helps orchestrate daily operations, enhancing both patient experience and team efficiency.

In 2020, Brittany accompanied Tommy in transitioning into the direct primary care module of healthcare, leading to co-founding Community DPC in 2024. Her commitment to healthcare excellence is evident in every interaction, and she strives to create a supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Carlton M. Vollberg DO

Medical Director
Carlton M. Vollberg, DO, received his Doctor of Osteopathy from Kansas City University of Medicine and Bio-Science in 1992. Dr. Vollberg then completed his internship at the University of Alabama in 1993 and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of South Alabama in 1996.​
Dr. Vollberg pioneered the direct primary care model in the Chattanooga area. He felt that the constraints of the traditional healthcare model did not allow him to truly care for his patients. The direct primary care model allowed him to spend more time with his patients to develop treatment plans that were meaningful and actually made a difference. Dr. Vollberg specializes in Internal Medicine and is a member of the National lipid association. He has lectured frequently on topics of Nutrition and Wellness, and has also been published in The Southern Medical Journal in 1997 for “Vibrio vulnificus Infection: An Important Cause of Septicemia in Patients With Cirrhosis”.​
Dr. Vollberg is an active husband and father to three adult children. He enjoys hiking, trail running, triathlons, and camping. He has competed in the Ironman Competition along with several marathons and ultra-distance trail races. Dr. Vollberg is very active in his church, and believes that good health is a treasured gift from God.
